Our School

Antwerp British School vzw was founded in 1979 to provide an international education using the English language. Our school emphasises academic achievement in a caring, structured and purposeful environment. We connect students to the global community, encouraging each individual to reach their full potential and setting them on the pathway to an English medium university education.
Our school caters for ages 3-16, following the International Primary Curriculum and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, which is overseen by the University of Cambridge.  Accreditation by the Council of International Schools ensures that we meet rigorous governance, financial and educational standards.

Being an international school we take languages seriously.  Both French and Dutch are compulsory.  We also offer courses in local and cultural studies as well as a course in international studies to help students develop international perspectives.

Facilities include library, computer and science labs, theatre, gymnasium and an art studio.

The school is close to Berchem station and easily accessible by public transport.
